Nancy Lake is a popular state recreation site -- nearby streams and lakes offer some of Alaska's finest Salmon, Trout, and Pike fishing. It is less than 15 minutes from Deshka Landing. The area includes an extensive (foot, canoe, snow machine) trail and waterway system of connected lakes and rivers. There are 100's of miles of trails, some of which connect to the International Iditarod trail (which lead to Nome on the Bering Strait.)

Nancy Lake is a large lake (five miles long), and is perfect for a full spectrum of watersports and winter sports. Hatcher Pass, also nearby, offers scenic vistas, excellent hiking and berry-picking opportunities in summer, and skiing and snowmachining in winter.

Off-Season Rates: $160 per night (2 night mimimum); $960 per week (seventh night free); $3,600 per month. Peak Season Rates: $215 per night (3 night minimum); $1,290 per week (seventh night free); $4,600 per month. Peak Season = 5/15-9/15, Xmas Break, and New Year's Week. These rates are based on 6 or fewer people. Add $25/night for each additional person. For larger groups, a small "dry" sleeping cabin is available on the property. $200 refundable reservation/damage deposit. $50 cleaning fee. Longer minimum stays required during holidays. Sorry, no pets or smoking.
