The lakes are regionally known for great bass, pike and blue gill fishing and also excellent for water skiing and other water sport activities. There is a championship golf course on the lake (5 courses w/in 15 miles), a restaurant on the water accessible by boat and the quaint downtown of Coldwater, MI, which offers numerous restaurants, shoppiing and activities for kids.
